The Fair Work Commission (FWC) has announced that from 1 July 2021 the National Minimum Wage is to be increased by 2.5% to $772.60 per week or $20.33 per hour.

This increase will also apply to all Award wages and happen in 3 stages, namely:

Stage 1 – Most Awards will increase from 1 July 2021;

Stage 2 – The Retail Award will increase from 1 September 2021;

Stage 3 – 21 other Awards (which includes the Hospitality Award and Restaurant Award, and Fitness Award) will increase from 1 November 2021.
